I make no apologies. I have been in the throes of "World of Warcraft", and as soon as I am done posting here, I'm heading back. You wanna criticize someone? Go to Chuck Zaglanis' blog and give him hell. He's the one who turned me onto this damned thing.

And there's so much I could have been posting about. I could have been writing about the cat who lives in a nursing home and intuitively snuggles up to patients hours before they die (yeesh!); I could have been bashing the Bush administration and the upcoming constitutional crisis; or I could have been waxing and waning about the Detroit Tigers. But no-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o, what do I do? I play World of Warcraft.

So I'm off...and no apologies. Thanks Chuck.

Gotta feed the need. I appreciate an unapologetic gamer.

You are wise to follow the wishes of Chuck Mr. Sternberg.

No good can come from denying him.

That said, I wish you luck with your addiction.

I was addicted to StarCraft back int he day. Man you couldn't beat me away with a bat wrapped with razor wire. I still play that one from time to time. Good fun. A person just needs to have some honest fun for a change. IT's a good thing. Well, unless it begins to take over you mind and you start to see Warcraft characters stroding about your bedroom at night or making palaver in your driveway, then, it might not be so good.
LAter, fella.

Awwww! That is one cat. They do have a sense. When I'm depressed (and only when I'm really and rarely depressed), my cats will lay on me, purr next to me, and one will bring me all her toys.

My friend's cat curls around her head every time she has a migraine.

I love cats, can you tell?

Ever seen the Southpark episode about World of Warcraft? it's hilarious. I rather hope it doesn't show how "YOU" are, though.

I see Miller has seen it.

Sounds to me like that cat is The Reaper. He's got all you mortals fooled!

Do whatever makes you happy Stewart, and stick to your unapologetic guns.

I sometimes wish I had an escape like "World of Warcraft" but I never got into it.

Glad you're having fun.

Clearly the cats you know are merely trying to suck your breath away.

You are wise not to resist. Games are life. Games are reality. Games must be appeased and sacrificed to. If the only place the Game were available was in a crack house, you'd be on the 560 bus to Gratiot and Seven Mile tonight. Go and satisfy your need. I don't want to see you twitching at dinner tonight.

If, on the other hand you truely want to quit, I know a good Two Step program. Step One: Stop doing it. Step Two: Repeat Step one.

I have friends who love that game. I wish I could get into it, it looks interesting.

Ah yes, W.O.W. I hear all about it from my teenage daughter. She started with Everquest, moved on to Guild Wars, and now it's W.O.W., which seems to be her favorite.
Have fun :)

Excellent! You have fallen for the easiest ruse in the world, you fool! You are now in the clutches of Captain SQL. Don't interrupt whilst (whilst?) I'm monlogouing! Indeed, you have fallen for online gaming, never dreaming that conservative techies such as I have contrived deviously to use this to divert your precious time from complaining about the President!

Hahahaha! All the while you thought that The Vice President was the evil genius, while we've been launching these time wasters against the feeble minded, such as you.

You are now in our thrall, and there is nothing you can do about it!

Oh, BTW, genetic enginerring is legal in Ohio. We send the failed experiments to Michigan.

Stewart, I know this is off topic, but I want to say thank you for all the help you've given me. Your comments have really helped me to improve my writing.

Welcome to the Dark Side.

I always get over-excited when people I know online start playing WoW. Case in point: Rebecca (on my link list, Sunnybrook Farms). Hubby and I are working on a character to transfer from our main server to hers so we don't have to work so hard to get to where she is level-wise.

I want to know what server -you- play on, and your character name, so I can come visit you and say hello! If you ever have a WoW question, give me a holler.. I've been playing for a year and a half, and I've had characters of just about every race and class.

I'm all giddy!

Thanks for the info on World of Warcraft. I've been considering giving it a try, myself & now I know better. ;)
