High Seas Cthulhu!!!!

I'm sure you know I am an enormous fan of Lovecraft. I have recently written and had accepted a short story inspired by that old gentleman from Rhode Island. The tale is called "The Others" and will be coming out soon in an anthology published by Elder Signs Press.

The collection is aptly entitled: "High Seas Cthulhu".
If you're a fan of supernatural horror, you're going to enjoy these stories.

Not only do I get the thrill of having a mythos story published, but I am excited to be included in the company of Allen Dean Foster, John Shirley, Tim Curran, and Darrell Schweitzer.

So, that's my great news for the day. I hope you'll buy a copy and enjoy some unsettling horror. I hope you read it and stay up at night, watching the shadows on the wall and wondering if they're really just shadows.

cthulhu
lovecraft, mythos

Wonderful news. And it's about time. No snippey coments...just genuine congratulations.

Can I get it and B&N or on-line or what? And when?

I am not sure if it will be carried at Barnes and Noble. I know that Elder Signs has a distributor and that "Dark Wisdom" is available at B and N...but I am not sure. However, I do believe it can be ordered now online. Just follow the link to Elder Signs Press. Im sure it's also being offered on Shocklines and Amazon.

Jon, I've just been notified the book may be available at Barnes and Noble and Borders. It will depend on distribution, which I don't understand.

Congratulations, Stewart. A real achievement and I'm proud of you and the success of your efforts. However, as you can tell by the preceding sentence, I will still not shut up about the need for anti-economy (now there is an uneconomical word if there ever was one!).

I'll say it again. Fantastic!!!
Congratulations.

Don't even think about asking me to carry your bags.

Sphinx, Rick, Spyscribbler..thanks. I appreciate the support. Lucas, Chuck, Miranda..again thanks. Travis, Kate, Donkey, Deslily,Sue Miller, SQT..you guys have always been incredibly positive and encouraging.

One last note..Jon asked about Barnes and Noble. My suggestion is that anyone who is interested in buying the book should buy copies now fom Eldersign Press. The link is on the posting. I say this because it may not be available through the bookstores for some time, and how distribution runs may depend in some part as to how healthy early or advanced sales are.

So if you plan on buying, buy now. Thanks.

Congratulations! Don't know if you've ever seen it, but you might get a kick out of "Tales of Plush Cthulhu" at; http://www.logicalcreativity.com/jon/plush/01.html
I was so inspired I had to buy a plush Ctulhu for my very own.
Unfortunately I'm forced to catch up on mortgage escrow at the present, but once things even out again, I should have some extra $ to treat myself to your book.

Congratulation! This is indeed wonderful news, and although I am not a fan of the genre, I will make a point of reading your story.

Who knows? I may become a convert. I've never really given it a chance before, but now I will have to do so.
